Hey they Austin peeps.... a pretty cool event is coming up and I wanted to make sure you knew about it!! Restaurant Week gives people the opportunity to try out nicer restaurants for a fraction of the cost. I haven't been, but I really want to go to at least 2 restaurants on the list this time around. They won't announce the participating restaurants until the 15th.

What is Austin Restaurant Week?Austin Restaurant Week is based on a simple concept: fine dining at reasonable prices. The best Austin restaurants will come together to provide $25 and $35 three-course prix fixe menus to diners for eight nights.

When is it?Austin Restaurant Week will take place from Sunday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 4 and then again from Sunday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 11.

How do I participate in Austin Restaurant Week?It's easy. You don't need tickets or passes to participate. Simply search through the participating restaurants, view their menus and reviews and then call them to make a reservation during Austin Restaurant Week.

Which restaurants are participating?More than 50 of Austin's finest restaurants are participating in Austin Restaurant Week. For a complete list, click here.

Are reservations required?No. But they are strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
