Tried it once....




And that was enough. We have a friend of ours staying with us for a week while he is waiting to move into his rental house (long story). Anywho... he came home the other night with a little surprise. A canned Chelada. Huh. Interesting. So after dinner, we all got our glasses out and tried a little. As far as I can tell a Chelada is a mixture of beer, tomato juice, salt and lime. I think a homemade version would be tasty, HOWEVER this canned version was not great. It was slightly tolerable, but none of us could finish our glasses. We tried adding some Tabasco and celery salt (bloody mary tastes) but that didn't help it. So folks, if you feel like trying it go ahead, but don't expect much.
